Release 5.17
This release presents a new feature to add file attachments to work permits. Included in this feature are permit and permit attachment counts in the tab titles, and the ability to restrict the job being closed if there are any outstanding permits.
What’s New
Dynamic Titles with Work Permit Counts
The tab to select work permits include the work permit counts for jobs, job scopes, and customers.
Added File Attachment Functionality For Work Permits
Users are able to upload, view, and manage files related to specific work permits. The process is the same as in other attachment uploads.
In work permit lists:
the attachment count is included in the attachments tab title.
A paperclip icon is shown next to the notes icon if the work permit has one or more attachments.
Added Job Status Validation for Work Permits
A validation in the job checklist has been added to prevent the job status change to Billed (close a job) if permits do not meet required conditions.
A new preferences form was created to configure work permit rules. In this form, you can select work permit statuses that will allow a job to be closed.
If no configuration is made, the validation is not enforced.
The configuration page is under the T-JACS Admin menu, Permits tab, in the Preferences sub-tab.
