Release 5.02

Summary

A few big new features arrived in this release, including a new field on time sheets to capture notes about any items acquired or expenses incurred. Jobs can now have a Void / Canceled status, to indicate that the job is closed but not invoiced. It can be maintained for history, or reused on a new job. Billed, Closed RFP, and Void jobs are now listed in a sub tab under the Closed tab on the job board.

Also, when viewing the job board, you can filter by job number or name in addition to the customer name.

Some other issues were addressed as listed below.

New Features

Added Notes Field to Time Sheet to Record Items Acquired

• When the employee states that they acquired materials or incurred expenses, a new fields is shown that lets them note what the items were as a separate field from the description of work. It is a freeform text field where they can describe the items.

Move Billed and Closed RFP Jobs to Subtab Under Closed Tab

• In the Jobs menu, we’ve cleaned up the tabs by moving Billed and Closed RFP under a general tab called Closed.

Add Job Status: Void / Canceled

• We added a new job status: Void / Canceled.

• The job is checked for time sheets and WIPR when moving to void. Findings are listed as warnings, but do not prevent moving to void in any cases.

• The voided jobs are listed under the Closed tab on the job board.

• Voided jobs allow you to reuse the job number on subsequent jobs, after cleaning out any attached materials and expenses, and moving time sheets to other jobs.

Allow Bulk Setting Employee Reimbursements as Paid

• In the reimbursement list, there is a bulk option to set the reimbursement date on checked rows.

Added Job Name or Number Filter to Job Lists

• You can filter the job board by entering the whole or partial job number or name.

• Partial customer names can also be filtered.

Bug Fixes

Time Sheet Form Fixes

• When selecting Away Labor Type, specifying breaks, as well as the question regarding acquired materials are no longer relevant. They are hidden now.

• Fixed a regression problem selecting jobs and customers related to a previous release.

Fix Sorting by Date on Job Scope Tasks List

• Sorting the tasks by date combines the date offset with the weight, but wasn’t adjusting for a 0 weight.

Fixed Bugs in Vendor PO List

• Some refactoring was done on the Vendor PO List.

• Fixed a problem setting the vendor PO amount, related to foreign currency, as well as potentially clearing the vendor location, and errors editing from non-admin accounts.
