Release 5.01

SUMMARY

We have a few notable new features, such as viewing and searching customer and vendor contacts. You can also build Job Scope Styles directly from the list of Job Scope Templates. Lastly, you can view the total calculated cost of a vendor purchase order from the materials and expense lists.

We’ve fixed a number of bugs in this release. Some are recent regression issues from refactoring, and a couple have been hiding for a while. These are listed below. We’ve continued to make progress on the vending functionality, but as yet, is not ready for release.

NEW FEATURES

Allow Job Scope Styles to be Added to From the Job Scope Templates Admin List

  • Allow selecting multiple templates with an option to Add to Job Scope Style. Choose or add a new style (or multiples).

Customer and Vendor Contacts Lists

  • In the Customer and Vendor menu items, there is a new tab called “Contacts.”

  • Selecting the Contacts tab shows a form where you can search for contacts. Typing partial names will show a list of contacts to select from.

  • Selecting a contact from the search results will show the customer or vendor that the contact is associated with. Clicking that will take you to the contact edit form.

  • A when on the Contacts tab, a sub-tab named List is available, showing all contacts for all customers and vendors (depending on whether you are in the Customer or Vendors menu).

  • Contact edit forms have also been updated.

Show Total Calculated Cost on Vendor Purchase Order Item Lists

  • At the top of Vendor PO Expense and Material lists, the total calculated cost of all items is shown at the top of the form.

BUG FIXES

Fix Issues With Inventory Catalog / Bin Authorization

  • Look-ups for authorized materials in inventory bins were not working as expected.

Removed Attachments Tab from Scope Templates

  • Attachments on templates are expecting to be associated with a job. It was safer to remove the function for now until it can be addressed.

Rogue Style Edit Not Saving on PO

  • Removing styles from a catalog item doesn’t automatically remove all existing styles from job and vendor PO items. This is to prevent unintentional data loss. These leftover styles are called rogue styles.

  • When clearing or editing a rogue style on a vendor PO material item, the change wasn't being applied to the database or being synchronized to a connected job item.
