Release 4.99A

SUMMARY

These notes document urgent fixes included in Releases 4.99 A to E.

A number of fixes were implemented since the 4.99 Release in the past few weeks. We’ve been able to address some past annoyances, such as redirecting you back to the originating form when entering or editing time sheets.

We’ve also introduced a few new features that will improve the way you work with job scopes, job items, and time sheets. Details of each feature and fix are listed below.

NEW FEATURES

Allow Changing the Job Scope on Quick Add Job Items (4.99D)

• When adding items to a job using Quick Add, the Quick Add section title shows the job scope destination of the item.

  • If filtering the list by job scope, the item is automatically added to the selected scope.

  • If viewing the materials via the job scope materials list, the item is also automatically added to the current scope

  • In other cases, the Job’s default scope is selected and a dropdown list of available job scopes is shown to allow selecting a different scope.

    • A checkbox is shown to allow setting that scope as the default job scope.

    • Changing the default scope here also changes the default scope presented when adding time sheets.

Filter Items By Hold on Job Item Lists (4.99D)

• Allow filtering the job items by the Hold.

Filter Items on Job Material Lists by “Has Shop Quantity” (4.99D/E)

• There is a new filter for job materials to only include items that have a quantity taken from stock.

• This is found in the “Filter Items With” filter dropdown list.

Added Color to Job Scope Catalog List Table Headings (4.99D)

• Added color to table headings to match the MSW, MCR tables

Added Time Sheet ID to the Time Sheet Search (4.99C)

• When using the global search function, you can now search time sheets by the time sheet id.

• Leave out the prefix when searching and just use the numbers.

BUG FIXES

Fix Invalid Currency Exception in Vendor Purchase Order (4.99D)

• A currency mismatch between values caused a failure when working with foreign currency purchase orders.

Fixed Log Warning in Employee Role List Form (4.99D)

• Clicking Save on an empty job labor type list caused a warning to show in the error log.

Fixed Error Changing the Markup on Catalog Kits (4.99D)

• Catalog Kit Lists generated an error when changing the markup.

Time Sheet Editing Should go Back to Where the Edit Was Initiated(4.99B/C)

• After submitting or cancelling a time sheet, you are now redirected to the originating form.

Fixed Scope Hold Not Showing Correct Hold (4.99B)

• The hold on the job scope list was always showing as New.

Fixed Add to Quote (4.99B)

• Add to Quote was failing when adding an item from the Vendor Purchase Order.

Print MCR Fixes (4.99B)

• Added MCW after the title (Materials Cost Worksheet) to explain the meaning of MCW in the print buttons.

• Change the button labels to MCW.

• Fixed Print MCW getting a bogus scope if the filter is "all".

Fix Broken Script Load (4.99A)

• Fixed a problem with the script controlling the feature to set the focus to the Search Item Code field After Quick Add.
