SUMMARY
The major feature to note is the ability to choose from stock when you add materials in the MSR through the Add tab. In the process, several related bugs were identified and squished.

NEW FEATURES
Allow Reconciling Stock From Job Material Add/Edit Form
When editing or adding a job item, there is now a field titled Stock Qty Add.
Available stock is listed below under Take From Available Stock.
Clicking on an item in that list will pull stock from the bin and apply it to the job.
If a bin is not selected, the amount to take from stock will remain in the Stock Qty Add field and can be reconciled as usual.
Allow Changing Base Cost and Sale Price Simultaneously on MSR (Release 4.97C)
If the base cost changes, the sale price is adjusted automatically, based on the markup percent.
There was a challenge recognizing the sale price being detected as changed manually by the user, or automatically from the base cost, so the preferred action was to only change the sale price if it was entered as a separate transaction.
We are now detecting the change so that we can distinguish the sale price being changed manually or automatically.
We hope we are detecting it properly, so please notify us if you find something unexpected that we didn't account for.
BUG FIXES
Style Reforms
Validate Empty Style in Material Add Forms
If there are style options for a catalog item, you
will not be allowed to continue if a style is not selected.Leaving a style blank would falsely indicate that a style was selected when viewing the item lists.
Editing the Style on Reconciled Items
If a job item has reconciled stock attached, then don’t allow editing the style.
This would allow you to misrepresent what was actually pulled from stock.
Editing a style is now allowed only when the Hold is Blue/New and the item has not been pulled or reconciled from stock.
Fixed Broken Style Select
In several places, the style was not visible for selection, or was otherwise broken.
Fixed the Success Message Not Showing
When adding a record, a notification normally shows, indicating that the records was updated or created.
A bug prevented that message from being shown.
Fixed Catalog Jobs List Failing to Open
The list of jobs that a catalog item was being used in was not opening.
Fixed Error in Vendor PO Add Item
Some data items weren't handled as expected.
Fixed Errors Adding/Editing Job Items by Non-privileged Users (Release 4.97A)
When a user without sufficient privilege edited a job item, there was a error doing a lookup that didn't need to be done.
Fixed an Error Generating the Invoice PDF (Release 4.97A & B)
A null value prevented the invoice from generating.
Fixed an Error Distributing an Expense When There Were No Items to Distribute Amongst (Release 4.97A)
No action is expected when there are no materials to distribute an expense between.
A missing notification message caused the error.
Fixed a Bug Saving the Job When Changing Status (Release 4.97C)
Certain fields don't need to be updated when employees without admin access are editing jobs.
